Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas about blocking users by their regional IP.
I have used IP Deny in cpanel but it it can not work on the scale required to block out say 'Eastern Europe' or 'Indonesia'. I mainly work with locals (in country trade) but happily deal with the occasional US visitor, however, strange users from European IP's often try and rort the system.
I know i dont have any legitmate traders in these regions, so i would love to find out if anyone knows of a method to block regions 'en masse' , can anyone help?
thanks

Thomas,
Many thanks, i am proceeding along these lines, it is very cumbersome as (naturally enough) each country has so many IP's. I imagine including them all would impede performance so i am being selective.
If anyone has any ideas or tips on avoiding a performance hit, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.

If you are blocking out more than half of that list, then instead you could allow only from certain countries.
