I have a mailing list, but I can't seem to find a way to give recipients an easy unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email they receive with each post. I'm sure it's easy; I just can't find it in the Mailing List Options settings.
Thanks!

Which mailing list software application are you using?

I am the Lead Forum Moderator. While I can assist in answering most of your hosting related questions, I am unable to answer questions about specifics relating to your account such as billing and server related issues. Should you need assistance in these areas, please contact our Help Desk or our many other options. Another good place to find answers is with our help pages, tutorials and movie tutorials.

I am using the Mailing List utility on my cpanel. Does that answer your question?

I hope you are using cPanel default mailing list called Mailman. If so, you can set unsubscribe link easily through mailman admin panel
1. Login to your admin area
2. Click "Non-digest options"
3. Choose "Full Personalization"
4. In the footer field, you can now place user-specific links.
You can use any of the following unsubscribe option

You can use any of the following unsubscribe option

Thanks. I have cut and pasted %(user_optionsurl)s into the footer box, and after submitting changes, I get this:
Warning: The following illegal substitution variables were found in the msg_footer string: user_optionsurl
Is there another setting needed somewhere?

I would open a ticket with the help desk and have them check the error.

Yes! I missed the third step [3. Choose "Full Personalization"]
that has been corrected above.

Thanks Alex. That worked better.
Now, when I send the test message, the recipient gets the footer as an attachment instead of it being appended to the bottom of the message body. The attachment is called ATT00160.txt, for example, and it contains the text of the footer. I am viewing the test messages in Outlook, and tried two different computers.
Is there anything I can do (as the sender) to make the footer always appear inline, or is this a function of the mail browser? I want to make sure the footer unsubscribe option is as evident as possible.
Thanks again,
Mike
