for administration whilst the data center provides the server
cabinet space, bandwidth, routing, and electricity.
Colocation is not reselling. TotalChoice owns the servers

our servers to the data centers' Internet connections.

of all of our servers, TotalChoice maintains its own operations
center to provide an additional layer of monitoring, support
and services. Our operations center is located in Burton,
Michigan and is staffed 24 hours per day seven days per
week.
The TotalChoice Web Hosting Operations Center provides
round-the-clock monitoring of all hardware, including routers,
switches, UPS systems, and servers at all four of the data centers. In brief, this

including FTP, HTTP, SMTP, HTTPS, TELNET, CPANEL and

Routine network monitoring of the local area network,
Internet connectivity (all routers, switches, and wiring),

An instant paging system to alert our staff to a failure
on any monitoring service. This is supplemented by audible
